The Old Bull Inn, Royston dates back to the 16th Century and is full of history and character. Originally built by Henry VIII as a shooting Inn, it is now a charming hotel with a cosy bar, restaurant and function rooms and run by Ben and Beth Chapman.
Ahead of their reopening on the 4th July, they wanted a simple and efficient way to provide table service to their customers in order to keep their customers and team safe. They also needed an order & pay app which would support their takeaway offering.
Priding themselves on customer service, Ben Chapman, co-owner with his wife Beth at The Old Bull Inn said the experience of their customers was their priority and they have found that using ROUND has only enhanced the level of service they can offer, in addition to ensuring their safety. “The speed of communication between our users and us as a venue is brilliant; it’s extremely concise and instant. Our customers have really enjoyed using ROUND and it has been well received, with our customers able to order safely”.
Not only has ROUND enhanced the customer experience, the team have found the system extremely “user-friendly and easy to use”. In addition to the venue interface, the team have found the POS signage which is shared with venues free-of-charge very useful as it allows the team to easily signal for customers to order via the app, giving them more time to chat with customers.
